What's New in Version 1.13.1
App works great for me
I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews, but I love the app, its integrated very well with D2L, and they are active updating and improving the app, I really cant ask too much. Maybe perhaps for other students it's the way their school is set up with D2L? Or maybe some people don't know how to use it right? Or some other technical issue.
One thing I would suggest for the developers would be for them to make an iPad version.
Update: at least they’re recently updating the app. However, nobody has responded to my feedback and from other reviews, many people seem to be experiencing the same thing. Please at least show some care for your consumers.
App badly needs modernized
This application is extremely bare-boned and not user friendly. I cannot fathom how universities so focused on Technology degrees, such as SNHU, even consider this platform a viable option for conducting class work. A prime example of this, is that you cannot use this app in landscape mode. Who develops a student app that doesn’t support this basic level of functionality? Not to mention the poor load times for certain resources. The only good thing about this app is that I can see my classwork and schedule: Wait, I can do that online too). Think I’ll just delete this and use a web shortcut until they actually bring this app “up to snuff”.
Brightspace doesn’t care that app doesn’t work
Update after 3 months: no one even responds to my request for help any longer. This app is broken for me and NO ONE CARES.
It worked for a semester and a half. Then it started not showing assignments. Then, when I tried to troubleshoot it buy signing out and back in, the app became unusable with the message "check back soon." If you like that constant message or one the says "loading courses" (but never does and goes right back to check back soon), then this app is for you! Don't bother trying to get support either. You will just get bounced around and told someone will email you in a couple days. Worst. App. Ever.
