Lost child is a parent's worst nightmare! BuddyTag App, together with its bluetooth tag and wristband with personal ID (available at www.MyBuddyTag.com), helps parents track their kids when out and about. BuddyTag App will sound an alarm on iOS devices if the child with BuddyTag is out of the App's proximity. If the child did get lost, the personal ID information on the wristband will help get the child reunited with the parents. In addition, there is a Panic Button on the wristband with the bluetooth tag, and the child can press the Panic Button to notify the parent that he/she needs help.

Love this for travel
We got this before a trip to Disneyland in 2015, and the original battery still shows as charged. (It's only turned on when we're on vacation.) It's been used at Disneyland, in Chicago, and at the beach. I love the customizable alerts, the option for a vibration alert (amusement parks are LOUD), and the fact that it requires effort and a little time to remove it (not a lot of time, but enough to make it difficult for a would-be kidnapper to get it off the kid's wrist). The location map is fairly accurate, so it's useful if we split up to go on separate rides or to make a pit stop or grab a cup of coffee -- it helps to track down the spouse and child in Tomorrowland amongst the crowds. There are things that could be improved, but they're small in comparison to the peace of mind we get from having our child wear the My Buddy Tag.
Was very excited
My child like 1/68 in America has autism, a device like this could be life saving. Setup with mild difficulty, tutorial and app are simple but not clear. It tell you to disconnect to save battery but nothing about how to recharge or purchase a new one. Disconnecting totally forgets the device and you must re-pair the device which is inconvenient. The range is also confusing, it goes from short to far instead of an actual feet or meters. I was hopeful because this is inexpensive, unfortunately it's actually CHEAP.
Another side note the hardware that keeps it on the child's wrist comes off easily.
It is a good tester to see if your child will tolerate wearing a GPS/location device but you definitely get what you pay for.
Update this app please make a feature to turn off distance and just be able to hit panic button please just update it!!!
