Use Builder Trend Slowly
The best way to integrate typhus into your company is by taking baby steps, like they say how do you eat an elephant? "One bite at a time" same goes for this system everyone that has got involved in this system and did not like it was because they tried to jump into everything at once. We have been using this system for about 8 years and love it but we started out using just the calendar until we understood that completely and all that has to offer, then moved on to the financial part that took a while. Quick Books works with BT but you can't download your budget from BT into QB as QB won't let you do we need to send a message to QB and ask them to please get on the ball and work with BT.
Latest update messed things up
We have been using buildertrend for about 2 months now, and the most recent update made it so you can’t release a bid to a subcontractor! You have to do it from a desktop which is a serious pain.
Otherwise we’ve been having good luck. Small things like it not auto saving to-do’s or daily logs is also annoying, because if you accidentally close out you lose all of your data!
New update broke it
The app said I had to update, so I did. Now the only thing I see when starting the app is "this version no longer supported, update". But I have the new version. Not a big surprise from this piece of junk. I'm the homeowner and I can see everything the builder is paying the subs, shouldn't that be restricted to the builder?
