Worked for me!

I've been trying to get back in shape for a few years and running always slimmed me down the fastest in the past when I've gained a few pounds. But being more than a few pounds overweight my knees and back were killing me when I tried to start running again. Some one recommended I try C25K because it eases you back into running over 8 weeks instead of just going out and running 30 min straight like I was trying to do before c25k. I have been successful so far with c25k and am not experiencing the aches and pains like I was. Definitely recommend it if you are not in shape at all or haven't been exercising regularly and need to take baby steps like I did. I have found that slowly but surely is better than setting unrealistic expectations. Good luck to you and never give up!

Getting fit is easy!

I love this app. So easy for me to start running again, even though it's been years and I've gained 20 lbs. This workout starts slow, so my muscles are building up gradually over the course of several weeks. I'm having to take it slower than the app recommends, but that's not a problem. I'm on week 5, but I've been running for about 2 months now.
I also love that the app will alert me when it's time to switch to running/walking, even when I have another app open. I can easily use this app plus my music plus my step tracking app at the same time.
I recommend for people who are literally completely out of shape (take it slow) as well as people who are fit, but want to start running.

Fantastic app!

I hate running, but I'm trying to be healthier. My son hates running but he joined running club anyway to "overcome" hard things. So I decided it would be so much better if we did it together. Now both of us and my 3 other children are doing this together and I love it. Not the running bit but the doing it together. I'm a work in progress, I figure if I can move up to just strongly loathing it then it's a win as long as I get the extra time teaching my kids how important fitness is:) This app makes the learning to keep a pace and be healthy building up our endurance at a slow and steady rate, easy for all of our ages. From my youngest who is 8 to my oldest at 14 and myself at 41. It's pretty awesome!
