Total self improvement tool!
About 4 months ago I decided I was going to make a change in my habits and my health. I walked a lot for the first month and a half and then started using this app. I made some rookie mistakes in the beginning and ended up with sore knees but I'm back at it now and this app is a life saver! So easy to use, just hit start ask do what it says :) I have lost around 20 lbs and my stamina is improving all the time. I do have to repeat goals frequently but I'm okay with that. Thank you C25K for being such a great personal trainer!
Update: I still really love the app and I've lost 38 lbs, but my time keeps messing up and it's making it hard to keep wanting to use it. I'll look and still have 10 minutes to run when I know I should be done. Using map my run so I know my time is not right. Anyone know how to fix this?
I really enjoy this app! I've never been a long distance runner (even when I was in shape, I was only able to sprint short distances #SOFTBALL!! ;)!). Now trying to get back in shape, and this app really allows me to pace myself the way I need. The ding from walking to running and vis versa is my goal throughout the daily run! The only thing I noticed is that you have to keep the app open (don't lock your phone) the duration of your run. Other wise it glitches and won't tell you when to stop walking or running or when your half way. Before I figured that out I ran for 4 minutes instead of 1 minute and ended up doing 3 extra miles because it didn't tell me when I was half way. But other than that I love the C25K app!
Made me enjoy running
I hate exercise and running in particular after trying track and field in middle school. But I gave this app a try because I hear so much about it and I'm excited to say that I don't hate running anymore, I actually enjoy it! It makes getting into running easy and you can restart any week if you feel like you're not ready to move on to the new week. I've gone through the whole program and I actually find myself wanting to go for my run in the morning, which I never ever thought I would say. If you're looking to start running or just an easy way to get yourself started with an exercise program, download this app!
