Cachebot is a Geocaching app for the iPhone.
Cachebot is easy to use while still providing a lot of features. The simple yet elegant user interface has been carefully designed to be intuitive.
Features included but not shown in the screenshots: filtering caches by type, size, etc. ∙ viewing cache logs ∙ viewing and creating waypoints ∙ projecting waypoints ∙ logging trackables ∙ OpenStreetMap overlay ∙ own profile ∙ pending logs ∙ settings to switch between metric/imperial units
Cachebot is primarily built for Geocaching Premium members, but also works well for Basic members. Please note that some features shown in the screenshots are only available to Geocaching Premium Members.
Cachebot 8.2 resolves an issue where not all caches were shown on the map.

It won’t let you see any cache info
I’m glad to see the free version of this app is back but it won’t let me see any cache info. I know you can only load the descriptions of 3 caches a day but the old app gave you the option of opening the description in the browser, this new version doesn’t have that! After loading 3 descriptions all you can do is navigate to caches without knowing anything about them! I shouldn’t have to go to the website on the browser separately to read descriptions, what’s the point of even having an app. BRING BACK THE LINK TO THE DESCRIPTIONS TO OPEN THEM IN THE BROWSER!
Developer Response ,
I’d love to bring back the feature to open the description in the browser, but unfortunately it’s not allowed (per the Geocaching.com license agreement). All third-party geocaching apps have to adhere to that rule.
New version won’t work
Every time I started the app, the only thing I got was a message that said “Failure to load”. It popped up three times the would shut down. The old version worked great.
The updated 7.4 has been fixed. All is working. App works well. Thx for the update.
Developer Response ,
This issue has been fixed in version 7.4. Sorry for the trouble!
After downloading the app I was able to see 3 whole caches in my area. On the free version I have had for awhile and other geocaching apps I see dozens if not hundreds in my area. This app brings zero value. Don’t waste your money.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
