Don't waste your money
This app is more or less garbage. I bought it because I already purchased the desktop app, but got tired of sitting at my computer assigning a bpm to each one of my songs (the automatic import is pretty useless). So I thought I could do this on my phone with the fix bpm function.
Wrong! First of all the bpm fixer doesn't even work, and secondly it won't assign the values to your iTunes library.
So I decided, oh well, I wasted some money...might as well check out the radio stations. Well let me let you in on a secret: they're all garbage. Nothing according to my tastes whatsoever. It's all European dubstep club music. I was playing around with it a little bit and I got it to play a good song...then I realized it was from MY iTunes library.
My mistake for not believing the bad reviews i guess.
I gave it 2 stars because once I loaded my library up, it allows me to mix certain playlists that I have and the consistent beat is cool, but its using the bpm from my library...and I already have playlists for each range of bpm. Basically this app does nothing for me i can't do using smart playlists
Gonna try and get my $4.99 back. You need to get it for your desktop and phone (doesn't run on both). So I got desktop and it crashes repeatedly.
Once you get it uploaded it was confusing to me on getting it to analyze library telling me it must be loaded in the same place as iTunes.
I don't have anything special set up on my computer. "Factory settings" with iTunes yet it asks me EVERY SINGLE TIME to find the library and rejects the location randomly. ?? It's in the same place, why random extra work?
Won't analyze certain playlists too just crashes overe and over.
What it does manage to get done is great. My library isn't that large 5000 tracks. I cannot see what I'm doing wrong or what triggers the crash. Looks like it does not report it to Cadence. Not cool.
If u can stand it, only buy desktop then analyze what you can then export and when you sync your phone the BPM will show up and you can use it
Love the concept but this crashing thing is too much to tolerate
This app is frustrating. It doesn't "see" some (a lot) of my music/playlists. I've tried restarting, I've tried syncing, I've tried re-installing... They just don't show up. Perhaps it has something to do with "the cloud" but, even downloading all the songs to my computer and phone and syncing, they still don't show up within the app.
Further, of the songs it does notice, it only gets the BPM of about 50% -and they are not entirely correct.
The tap feature works great but this app and their desktop version are so completely full of bugs that I feel scammed.
