Customer Reviews

Great, just needs one thing to be perfect.

I love this app. It does just about everything I need it to and does it well, for the most part.
I love that I can pick my own theme. I love that I can add an address of where I'm going to what I'm scheduling, and click said address to be taken directly to Google Maps (or Apple Maps, for those of you who use it wondering) for directions. This is the only app I've found thus far that does the aforementioned seamlessly.
The only thing it needs - and this is very minor, I know - is the ability to add phone numbers as well as addresses. What I mean by this is the ability to add a phone number, then be able to click that number and call or text it.
Many times I have found myself scrambling for the phone number (which I am unfortunately forced to keep in the Notes section of the app or my Contacts, neither of which are very convenient) to call the place I'm going to, to tell them I will be late or what-have-you.
It'd be a nice extra feature to have.
But even without it, it's a great app and does what's needed of it. It's earned every one of those four stars.
I highly recommend it. Try it, you will not regret it!

Edit: As of the last update it seems they have now added the feature to not only call someone directly from the app, but text them, email them and even message their Facebook. I am now upping the rating of this app to a solid five stars. Perfect!

Everything’s great except for syncing with iCal.

I loved this app at first! It looks great and its syncing with AnyDO is super helpful, since the iPhone default calendar doesn’t have a to-do list. The interface is intuitive and super easy to use, with each motion of one’s finger causing some kind of sensical action.

Recently, however, I started noticing issues. Tasks synced from AnyDO showed up double, and I tried to make a new event, only to be sent to December 2013. After scrolling back to today, the event I thought I saved only showed up on the correct date as “New Event” with the settings I changed (alarms, repeat, start and end time, etc.) all reset. I tried quitting the app and restarting it, and the same thing happened again, even when I tried to set events on different days. Sometimes it would go as far back as November 5 years ago. I feel like it is some sort of issue with its communication with iCal, or some sort of bug. I’ve resorted back to iCal, because using Cal would require inputting events into iCal first anyway. I do hope these problems are fixed soon, because if they are this would be a great app!

My favorite appointments app

I like the look but what I like best is that it works with Waze, my navigation app. I just love being able to enter a name from my contacts then tapping the address and ways opens automatically to get me there. (For some reason one of my regular appointments is not recognized as a local address but since that's the only one…)
It's easier for me to enter my appointment into the Apple iCal, then the appt transfers automatically to Cal which takes care of reminding me and getting me driving directions.
I have not had the crashing and other problems that others have reported.
The partner aps, AnyDo, also works great alongside this.
