What's New in Version 2.1
Password protection improved.
Increased launching speed.
First off the two guys below me who had problems, the problem isnt the app. The note didnt save cause he didnt hit done. And to ask for instructions on this is like asking for instructions using a toaster. But people do exist that have trouble figuring toasters out. I had it a few months, no problems bugs or glitches. True, as the last one said, you have to make your last note a blank one as a spacer but like was said no problem. I love it, its slick, works great, and few know what it is but the other secret calculators are already popular so they know its a safe. The two finger slide might take a few trys but i like it that way, better safe than sorry. Just holds websites and notes though and i could save my favorite sites on a notepad anyway but no harm in needless luxurys.
A few touches needed, but overall great app
I love this app. It's exactly what I was looking for. I used Evernote before, but that one won't log you out, so it's a manual labor every time I make a note. Calcpad is great this way. Every time u exit the app u have to punch in the pass to get back to the writing.
I do have a few issues with this pad. First, sometimes, the newest notes are not accessible easily beCause of "return to the calculator button", so in order not to press that instead, I have to access older notes and flip through them until I can get to the last one. It's not a pain, just something that needs fixing.
And there is no landscape mode. Again, not a pain, but if present, it could be a nice touch.
And last, the only time when the app won't ask the password is when you lock the screen while the app is running. maybe that was intended, I don't know, I would like it to be a choice for me and not a default setting.
Otherwise, great app!!
Perfect for storing data, would be great if i could back up my notes so i would not loose them when my phone crashes I would not loose my notes. Also it would be nice if the return to calc button wasn't so big.
