"I just ran the numbers: this is the best game of 2014 so far."
- Pocket Tactics

Earth has been destroyed by the evil Hate Bit and you are the Last Star Nerd! Only you can control mighty armies with Calculord Cards and battle to the edge of space!

Innovative collectible card gaming combined with number puzzles and turn-based tactical combat.

"The math element is what really pushes Calculords into 'brilliant' territory."
- Touch Arcade

Clever use of numbers lets you deploy starships, soldiers, tanks, aliens, and devastating tactics. You'll have to be several kinds of brilliant to save what's left of space!

With every win, your card collection grows. Use the robust Calculords deck editor to design up to three decks. Discover your own unstoppable combos and avenge Earth!

From ironclad defenses to swarms of snarling beasts, your foes will battle using all varieties of deadly tactics. Can you withstand the psionic attacks of the alien Uracillon? Can you navigate the mine fields of the trash-talking Cosblast?

Defeating opponents gives you more than new cards! You also earn XP to upgrade your base, hand size, and resources. Gain massive multipliers with cunning play and get there even faster. You don't need to be a genius to play Calculords, but if you happen to be one, you'll be handsomely rewarded.

Can you defeat the maniac Corporal Krak using only tactic cards? Can you destroy the mutate hordes of Cytosinor on the very first turn? There are 19 medals to earn against each enemy commander, and only the mightiest of Star Nerds will win them all. Are you that Star Nerd?

Customer Reviews

Outstanding. Leaves me wanting more though.

I got this game last week and I already beat it. Having only 7 bosses to play against kind of stinks. It wouldn't be bad if I could increase the difficulty or if there was multiplayer, but I don't really see a reason to continue playing it...maybe for medals? The only way to get more out of the game is to challenge myself with my own unique ideas. I'd rather there be a longer campaign.

Anyway if you like math, card games, and a "Nexus Wars" style push game, then this is for you.

Also I am a complete sucker for pixel graphics, great design, I just don't know the point of making new decks and collecting new cards if I know I will win vs the A.I. 95% of the time.

Easily the best game in a long time

I say it's the best game in a long time, not just because it is an original game with amazing art, characters, loot system, gameplay, and so much more, but because it is truly what mobile games should be. No ads, No greedy energy scheme (e.g. Candy Crush only allowing so many plays in a specific amount of time), no pay wall, and purchased extras are reasonable in price and pay out (I know cause I've bought all of them).

I love this game. I hope many more people will play and share it, and I hope it becomes the next big trend in mobile gaming.

Smart game with a delightfully goofy premise

I adore this game. Great strategy, tons of different quips from the bosses, and simple and effective eight-bit style combine into an impressive collectable card game. Would recommend this especially for any youth struggling to manipulate numbers, although not for the very young--middle school and up?
Here's hoping for another great idea soon from ninja-crime.
I've put hours into playing this app.
