Bug in latest update?

I used used this app sice it was first released and love the convenience of it. I have the most recent version for Ventura installed and the "Matrix 1 (w/ Schedules" option selected. However, after the latest update, I now see "To Do" items displayed along with the events for any given day, and the default "To Do" item seems to be "Pick mom I'll mommy to pick." This is annoying, to say the least, and I don't seem to be able to eliminate it without selecting something other than "Matrix 1 (w/ Schedules). Please help!

100% Customizable Desktop Calendar

This app works great and offers extensive customization options (text, color, font, size, placement, etc.) to put a custom overlay calendar anywhere on your desktop, including on a second monitor. You can give specific days such as weekends or ’today’ a different look to set them apart, display calendar events below the dates, and show calendar To Do lists next to the calendar. You have to dig into the options to access everything but the calendar can be customized completely using Preferences and the regular menu bar options. And you can change your settings as often as you like (I’ve created multiple calendars and changed them around) - you are not locked into anything.

Exactly What I Needed

Read the app description carefully. This is not, nor is it intended to be, a scheduling app or a calendar repalcement like Fantastical, etc.

I’ve been using this desktop calendar for two or so years. It was one of the first apps I bought when I made the leap from PC to Mac. I needed a yearly calendar view that was quickly available without having to open an app and switch to year view. I also needed something that was large enough to see/read quickly. It is not a calendar app that you use for scheduling events. It’s a calendar. It’s view is highly customizable, but it is simply a calendar that hangs out on your desktop.

Before I purchased it, I exchanged emails with the developer to be sure it would do what I needed. The developer was very helpful. I had little difficulty customizing it. When I had a question, the developer responded in a timely fashion.

It may not be what everyone needs or wants but, it is what it says it is and it does what it says it does.
