Calendars is the most elegant and easy to use calendar application available on the App Store. It works perfectly with Google Calendar and built-in iOS Calendar.
Calendars allows you to manage events both online and offline. Thanks to the unique interface you can move events simply with Drag & Drop, navigate quickly between dates, change event time and reminders rapidly with custom keyboards.
Calendars supports everything you can find in Google Calendar: appointments, reminders and more. Sync is really fast and your information is always up to date.
What makes Calendars great:
◆ Interface focused on events
Elegant and easy to use interface makes it super simple to get a quick overview of the upcoming events and tasks. You always keep your focus on what's important; there is nothing to distract you.
◆ Day, Week, Month and List views of your events.
Calendars illustrates your Day, Week and Month on a small iPhone screen the best possible way. Depending on the situation, select the view that conveniently unveils your schedule.
◆ First-class iPad calendar

I use this most
I find I use this app most. It isn’t perfect, there are a few things I would change if I could so I have tried other options but I find I still fallback on this. Overall it does everything I need most and I suppose I’m used to it. But in fairness for the most part I like it and it incorporates everything I need. All of that said since the new IOS update it no longer stays open. I have been using it for years now and leave it open on my phone so I can just do the double click and choose it from the selection of open apps or just check the info I need without having to go to it full screen because I leave the month view open. Since the new update however when selecting it from my open apps it reverts to the opening screen and takes a few seconds (seems like a minutes but it isn’t) to open. It opens to my month view again but still each time I go to this app I have to go through the opening wait. This is going to become more problematic for me when for instance I am going back and forth between a couple of open apps while trying to schedule something or while talking to someone on the phone and looking up info. I don’t do this often but when I do I need it to work properly. For instance when I am attending and scheduling doctor visits with my Mom.
Worth the upgrade cost
I am still not sure almost a decade later why Mac choose to separate out task reminders and the calendar on the desktop. Figuring out when to do the stuff you need to do - and to have it all in one place - seems like the logical efficient approach. Luckily Readle fills this gap really well. I have found the app extremely efficient, and impressively reliable - it updates my iOS calendar instantly- and imports reminders that I write by talking to Siri without a problem. I also integrated my trello calendars without issue etc. My favorite is how easy it is to set multiple reminders. And the logical way you can write a calendar event. Why Apple can’t get this right is just mind boggling. My biggest disappointment is that they don’t have a version of the app for my Mac (as far as I can tell.) It’s not a problem per se., only insofar as I’m spoiled now and really notice all the inefficiency in the old calendar. Ugh. Kudos Readdle, and please let me know if you do make a desktop version - I would happily pay another 15-20 dollars to escape the iOS one!!
