What's New in Version 1.4.0
Now supports iOS 8.1.2.
The Entire Globe but Only a Few Theaters
Gameplay is good, drone component is also good but it's kind of dull to only have a few environs. I finished the basic game recklessly in an afternoon. Also leveling up to new weapons seems to be all but non-existent no matter how high my rank.
There also seems to be a bug in the iOS version 'cause I can't get more tokens. All in all I like the function, features and UI. Coordinating a squad is also an interesting component but it just doesn't hold my attention for too long. I've had the same and similar gripes with the other mobile COD games. They always seem to have some fatal bug that has me putting it down right away.
It could be better and Activision should take the time to stay invested in their releases, it's almost as if the day they release the company's already forgotten about it and moved on to the next one. It doesn't really motivate me to move up to full console gameplay with their products.
Tbh- ignore the first sentence! Worth you time!!!!!!!!!
I hate the game, I think it's kinda lame, I don't like all this controlling of 3 people at a time. BUT... If they added zombies, I don't know what I would do. Maybe say my life is complete and play it non stop. If you could level up and unlock new guns to buy in mystery box? Set up a camping spot where all 3 people would stay and cover each other? Upgrade your people with some type of currency like health and accuracy? Maybe even a multiplayer where you could chat and bring one of your guys along too?!?!?! This would be the best game ever... COD plz read this and maybe a whole new game based on what I said I would love for that, not like it's going to happen. Still hate the 3rd person view or what ever it is but I should have expected it😁. Black ops 2 is awesome and thx for reading😘😜😝😛😊!
Taking advantage of the COD franchise name
I must admit that before buying this game I hoped that in some ways the control system would be similar to that of the COD Zombies (FPS Mode Only, Obviously) In any case, the changes made to FPS mode are a complete setback for this game. I understand the logic of the 3rd person view (strategically placing characters for the best method of finishing missions) but let's consider for a second that this game is based entirely on the COD franchise. Consumers, such as myself, are intrigued by the idea of being able to carry something remotely close to the experience of consoles. So, when the developer decided to throw the FPS concept away and concentrate primarily on the 3rd person shooter mode, they intentionally forgot the best part of what makes a COD game such a wonderful experience.
In any case, the concept of this game is OK, but the FPS control system really needs an update. It is very glitchy (playing on an iPhone 6+), and almost no customizable options for controls.
At least give us the option to change some buttons around. placement of ADS, crouch, shooting, grenade, etc you name it, they are horrible.
I will try to get use to the buttons but quite honestly, as of now (5 missions in) I am having such a frustrating time with this game.
