This app for doctors was designed by a physician to make being 'on call' less stressful. Listening to voicemails, leaving restaurants to call patients, missed phone numbers, no date of birth, and calling closed pharmacies are a waste of your time. This app allows providers to read patients requests and respond to patients via text message. You can also check voicemails from the app and reply via text or call the patient. My group has been using this app for over a year. It has made after-hours work easier. The ability to receive texts from patients and to text a patient improves communication. I think one of the best aspects is having documentation to put in the patient's chart. Of course, it also helps with recall when after-hour phone message volume is very high.
Truly simplifies call!
It makes call SOOO much easier- by essentially allowing me to privately and confidentially ( ie my contact info is private!) text message with patients (including time saving smart phrases) and providing all the relevant info - pharmacy, allergies, phones numbers, etc- I've saved time and reduced tons of stress. Call is far less disruptive and patients get what they need faster.
