The Caller-ID app by is the internet's first free and real Caller ID service. If somebody called you and you're trying to find out who owns the number, use our app to quickly do a "reverse lookup" and determine who called you.

Now with Maps and improved Geolocation!

Most (if not all) cellular phone carriers do not offer the full caller ID service that exists for landline phones. When someone calls a mobile phone, the cell phone caller ID leaves out the name, only showing the phone number and/or city of the caller. Real landline caller ID shows the number & name of the caller. Finally, a free & real landline caller ID utility exists for the iPhone.

Simply enter the number that called you, and we provide the name ("caller identification") registered to the phone number. Our service works for the entire United States and Canada, and we are adding more countries soon. Our caller identification is accurate information directly received from our telephone company partner. It is the same caller ID you would receive on a landline phone. Note: This App provides Caller ID for approximately 70% of wireless phones and VOIP phones. This is consistent with any other traditional landline caller ID system.

This tool may only be used to research phone numbers that called you. Map areas are approximate.

Misrepresentative, I expect Apple Inc.

I expected more from Apple Inc! It says update includes new Maps integration, that would infer to me Apple Maps not Google Maps on an iPhone with iOS9 (Apple allowing this to my mind has further degraded its own security best practices though that is Apple's security and not yours or mine neither apparently is disclosure

This app's description is inaccurate in description and method though I believe there is at the very least one dBase associated with the app, or perhaps the description is in some specifically legal parlance it is sufficient near enough; it is in part a google ads monetized app linked with google (inputs and out!) google ad & linked search monetized and more affilated verified people associated; I love google but I don't trust their business conduct as pertains to their most valuable assets -- personal elements private information, personal and "anonymous" demographics data, personal consumer, SN & communications if you have all the pieces to a puzzle you'll be soon able to extrapolate and interpolate, deduce and more and eventually identify aspects identifiable behaviors for modeling, etc. I am not here to school you, only tell you the truth.

Freaked me out!

Very Useful App! 🌟

This app is far more useful than the white page or yellow pages! Land lines that I have looked up include address and names for the most part too. When looking up cellular phone numbers if the name had been placed on that phone even if it is on a plan shared with others the correct name comes up with the number. (Just keep in mind that this is not offered by all cellular phone providers.) It gives you a general area for the cellular phone number on the map, but not an address. I took one star away (would have only taken half of a star off if possible) because I think the location of the cellular phone address should at least be in the correct city not just the nearest large city or the home location of the cellular phone providers main office. If that was corrected I would give this app 10 stars! 🌟

Great Great & Greater App not perfect but Great

It is very helpful at times it's not perfect which no app is and there is always someone to brow beat the crap out of every app!! It's a FREE App what r u expecting??? You want someone from Caller ID to call u and tell u who it was who just tried to call u and tell u who it was trying to call u where they live, work , what kind of car they drive, how many kids they have the color of their favorite underwear?? Oh crap you will have to look up there number first to see who the hell is calling u so then u can try to call them back after u look it up on this app but it's not going to give u all the info u wanted 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏
