While you're waiting for the update to install, try this simple exercise: taking a deep breath in, say in your mind "breathing in, I am calm". Then breathing out, slowly, silently say "breathing out, I am peaceful". Continue this cycle for a few minutes, breathing in, I am calm... breathing out, I am peaceful. You can use this technique anytime you need a calming break in your day. Enjoy!

Life changing

I used to use Headspace for meditation (which is a fine app - especially if you’re just getting started) but Calm has helped me take things to a whole other level. The Headspace meditations were essentially all the same - there are maybe four variations but he cycles through those four and you get the same mix regardless of what series you’re working on (stress, anxiety, work performance, etc). I feel like the Calm meditations go much deeper and I’m noticing a huge difference in myself after switching over to Calm. Historically, I’m somewhat self critical and I have a higher than normal baseline for general anxiety (although I wouldn’t say that I have an anxiety disorder by any means). At times, these things make me impulsive or reactive in certain ways that I don’t like. I feel like I’m much more self aware after switching to Calm and I’m able to identify when I’m experiencing certain feelings and deal with them in a healthy way. Aside from that, I’m much more enthusiastic about my meditation practice and I’m meditating more often since I learn new skills every day rather than sitting through the same old boring meditation. Calm gives you a toolbox with multiple different tools that you can use in various situations. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone.

Look if you catch yourself with somebody that's pride stamina is exceeding past it's ordinary limits, then fairness comes to say this app seems boring, your to coo for who? For what? Cause if times may grow for you in might be stuck with family to feed off that raggity lunch truck u thought you'd never come cross such, helpless but helplessness OG's started from help itself! How can you want changes to happen in your life, when your willing to make changes to your life?

Need help with a guided meditation to help clear and calm your mind? I use CALM daily in my mindful journey. I’ve developed techniques that help me combat a busy and destructive mind and I continuing to learn how to balance my thoughts. I’m learning how to harness my own energy to create a balance and flow. Meditation isn’t about shutting down the mind or silencing thoughts. Meditation isn’t even about saying “I can’t do it because I can’t sit still and I’m always thinking of something”. Our minds are naturally busy so are the thoughts that come in and out. Meditation helps me to non judgmentally acknowledge those thoughts then release them so they are not the forefront of my existence. We can’t properly unpack each thought to deal with them accordingly with clarity and focus if our entire system is overloaded. This feature is important to me because I am in a busy city so you can hear everything all the time. Also, their free services offer a vast variety of techniques so don’t be discouraged by the price.
