I used myfitnesspal in the past, and I just didn't like it. In my hands this app is much easier to use, and less "busy". MFP didn't suit me because I don't want to be in some kind of online community, I don't want to be super low carb, I'm not going down to 1200 calories a day, I just want to get the job done without a lot of hassle. With this app, I can usually quickly find what I ate/drank already in the database which is very important to me. I actually find that I enjoy logging my calories! I've been using this app for almost 6 weeks, lost over 12 pounds and am over halfway to my goal weight without being a completely hangry, miserable wretch. I am using the free version. I'd buy the full version but it's too expensive, and I don't want to pay a monthly fee. I do think they should work on their pricing to make it more reasonable to upgrade. Still, I am very thankful for this app and can truly see me using it from now on as part of a PERMANENT lifestyle change.
Absolutely Ahhhmazing App!!
Thank you so much for the help this app has given me! The accountability keeps me on track, the ability to actually "see" in print what I'm eating keeps me mindful to eat HEALTHY if I want to get healthy, the daily tips keep me motivated, the ease of entering keeps me happy to log my food and as I'm watching the pounds slip away, I'm just amazed.
YOU CAN DO THIS! I'm 63 and if I can do it, you can too! Make the decision today to loose that unwanted weight, then download and FOLLOW this app and you WILL loose weight! Get moving too and burn some calories! Any number of burned calories is a start, so just start!

I love this app so much!! It's simple and it works. I log every meal, snack and exercise, and it holds me accountable to stay on track with my fitness and nutrition throughout the day. I especially like the Analysis feature, which lets me see where I need make modifications. The extensive database makes it easy to enter foods. I also like seeing the chart results after my weigh-ins. It's a key component in my weight-loss program.
One request: I would like a future version to explain why each food item received the grade it did. That would be very helpful to know in making food decisions.
Thanks for providing this great app, which has become an essential tool in my healthy-lifestyle arsenal.
