What's New in Version 7.11

You can now share your diary entries with other iOS users via iMessage!

Imagine you’re at lunch with a MyFitnessPal friend and you both order the special. Or you cook dinner with your partner and you both want to log it. Or your nutritionist asks to review the foods you’ve been eating.

In each of these situations, and many more, MyFitnessPal iMessages make sharing your diary entries a breeze. Best of all, the other person will be able to log the foods you share in seconds.

There are two ways to get started:

1.Open iMessage and select MyFitnessPal from the applications menu.
2.Open your MyFitnessPal diary and either tap “Edit” or tap the three dots that appear below each meal. Select “Share via iMessage.”

This feature is rolling out slowly, so don’t worry if you don’t see it in the app yet.

Wow!!! I love this app!!!

I am not someone who is really into fitness or healthy eating, but I have been trying to be more aware of what I eat and trying to get into a healthier lifestyle. I honestly haven't been all that motivated in the past to pay attention. A friend told me about this app and it is easy, informative, and really makes sense! I have been logging daily and it is amazing to see first hand, immediately the results of what you are doing right and it shows you what you could be doing better! Love it!

Solid fitness tracking app!

I mostly use this app to keep track of my food / calories, and feel that it's come a long way since I first used it a long time ago. The recipe import is easy to use (aside from a few strange ingredient entries - 1g of garlic isn't 800 calories...?!). Enough people are using the DB that most foods are already in here, including online recipes from bloggers, etc. my only complaint is there's no easy way to report or perma-ignore incorrect records, and it seems to take a really long time to import my daily weigh-ins and exercise from the health app

This app has helped me greatly towards progressing in my fitness "journey". As a skinny guy it is hard for me to gain weight. For the first few months I thought I was eating enough and only saw moderate progress. I've had the app for about two weeks and can already see changes because I am actually eating enough thanks to counting calories.
