This release is full of new features. Here’s some of what we’ve improved since last time:

• Customize your nutrition goals
Want to adjust your macronutrient ratios? Limit your sodium intake? You’ve always been able to set custom goals on the MyFitnessPal website, and now you adjust them from within the app itself.

• Better progress graphs
We’ve added more time units to our progress screens; You can now see new graphs for the last six months, the last year, and all time. The layout of the measurements table is also improved, making it easier to review your measurements.

• Friendlier invitations
If you want to invite your Facebook friends to join you on MyFitnessPal, they will now be able to see your real name and not just your MyFitnessPal username. This is especially helpful if your friends don’t call you gymgal78 in real life.

• Forget frequently eaten foods
Sometimes you’ll eat a particular food for a long time then never eat it again. It used to be that you were stuck seeing this food in your frequently eaten foods list forever, but now you can swipe to remove it from the list. By the way, did you know that you can also swipe to remove saved meals, recipes, and foods from your diary as well?

• Bug fixes
We’re always working to make MyFitnessPal faster and more stable. This release has a small ant colony’s worth of bug fixes in it, especially for iPad and international users.

Far superior to anything out there!!

This is a great app for weight management! Whatever your goals/ needs are, it's customizable and easy to manage everything.
I've downloaded 3 of the most highly rated weight management apps. My Fitness Pal is hands down the best. It's full of excellent features; the ability to customize for all types of diets is its best strength. It also has a huge database of foods, it had everything I've ever searched for, including the nutrition stats for net carbs.
I especially recommend this for those who are somewhat knowledgable and interested healthy eating.
For both beginners and nutrition junkies, you won't find anything up to this standard. Definitely the one to buy!
Unfortunately, I bought another app that was highly rated and more expensive, and it was a joke compared to this.
It is easy to keep your info private, or if you are doing a buddy diet, this app is perfect. (I'm private and it is great that it doesn't bug you to log in to FB every day!!)

It will be hard to fine a better app

I have been using this app for almost 4 years on & off. It is a fantastic way to keep you on track. It tracks what you eat reminds you if you have not made an entry you are able to track your weight loss. If you want an easy way to track the food you eat and how much you have lost this is the app. I am able to fine most foods I eat even when I go out you will find a lot of menus listed. It is also easy to enter foods that are not listed just add food and the what the package shows for nutrients.
You can also share your information with friends if you are working together losing. I have read and used some other apps this one is rated number 1 and I agree it is the best one out there.

I don't know what I would do without it

It just started using this app about a week ago and I'm so glad that I found it. As a teenage girl, not only is it hard to lose weight or maintain my weight, but it is also difficult to do it in a healthy way. I only want to lose about 5-7 pounds and I've already lost a good pound by using this app. I don't even feel like I'm dieting; I'm just making sure I don't over eat (which I usually do) and with this app I can really see how much I should be eating to keep my calorie intake within the allowed amount. And after I do my cardio and enter it in I get so excited when it says I can eat even more than I intended to haha. I recommend this app for anyone trying to lose weight.
