Revisited Water Tracking
We revisited the entire water tracking experience and made it simpler and more intuitive. Just swipe up or down on an animated cup to add or remove water. Water can be added by increments of 1oz, 8oz, 12oz or 24oz.
Weekly Macronutrients breakdown
Gold users, enjoy our new macronutrients breakdown chart in the Progress section. You can now see a percentage breakdown of your Protein, Fat and Carb intake over a week. This new chart will definitely help you take action on your diet!

I recently started a diet/workout program which I've often quit before but this app has kept me on top of things longer than I was able to on my own. Documenting your meals, and being able to keep track of calories, makes everything feel that much more official. It REALLY discourages quitting. Uber user-friendly; if you're not sure which item to choose for your food, simply scan the barcode and voilà! Everything about this app is extremely useful. I even recommend the water app that is linked to it (MyWater) to keep track of daily water intake as well. MyPlate even has a neat little chart to visually represent your activity throughout days, weeks, and months. Last but not least, it links to the pre-installed Health app on iPhone and uses that information to determine how many calories you have burned, not to mention that you can manually add exercises you have done to add to the calorie burning. For anyone wishing to live a healthier lifestyle, this app is IT!!!
Full service app, works great
I've been using this app for about five weeks now, and it's one of the best weight management apps I've ever tried. The food library is extensive - while not wholly accurate, it's definitely good enough to keep you on track. The layout is easy and intuitive. It captures all the important pieces in one screen view, the constant tally of carbs/protein/fat ratio and calorie balance has been super helpful for guiding me towards more balanced eating and thoughtful choices.
I admit I bought the premium membership but not sure it was worth it. Some of the reading material is worthwhile, but the community feature is a bit disappointing. I've seen some questionable eating disorder content from certain community members on a regular basis I and keep thinking "where's a moderator"?
