Pro/con
This app requires you to specify a date plus origin and destination stations before it gives you a schedule. It does this quite well.
However, I prefer an app where I can browse the whole weekday/weekend schedule. My normal trips can start at any one of 3 stations, and this app is inconvenient for seeing all 3 possible origin stations simultaneously. Other apps fill this need for me.
Depends on your personal preference.
Simple but still powerful
This is a very clean and simple app to use. Much prettier than most of the other Caltrain-only apps. There aren't 500 features to sift through, and that's a good thing. The features that do exist are well considered and well executed.
Would love to see an Apple Watch app, or even tighter integration with iOS features like 3D Touch or Notification Center.
Color comments
I like the lighter layout, but the red=faster is a usability issue known as the Stroop Effect. The correct color to limit cognitive load would be green.
