Great way to pass time or unwind
I was a fan of Bejeweled many moons ago. This is similar in that combos are necessary for points & advancing. I've been playing Candy Crush for a number of years now, and don't even have Bejeweled on my device anymore. There've been a couple times where I've been stuck on a level for over a month, but since I'm not a daily player this is only mildly annoying. Whether I'm waiting to carpool or pick someone up at the airport, Candy Crush is my go-to for passing time. I love that I don't need to be connected to the Internet to play. Carpool lane is a vortex of intermittent 4G/no service, but Candy Crush continues on uninterrupted, seamlessly syncing my progress as soon as I'm reconnected. I'm glad lives sent by other players now remain until I choose to use them. I also love the occasional gifts, in addition to the daily spins. Thanks for this great game! I love it!
P.S. Has ANYONE ever won the "Wheel" jackpot?
*UPDATE* It's been a couple of years and I STILL love this game. In addition to being fun, it's providing me with a great downtime outlet during an extremely tragic time in my life. It's nice to be able to take time out and not think of everything that's going on right now. Thank you for that.
Always buckle up, and if the driver is drunk, get another ride.
Good for the brain
I'm somewhat recently disabled at an all too early age (not that it's ever okay) and thanks to the meds have been dummied down quite a bit. My son turned me on to this game. I've added it to the other little things I do for my brain, such as coloring and jigsaw puzzles. I'm enjoying it, though it's a bit addictive for my taste and can frustrate a mite. But it keeps me thinking critically. Use caution else it can get expensive. I choose not to use the cheats, but admit to having bought myself moves to finish a level I've been stuck. Have since stopped that though when it dawned on me that the creators are using our natures against us and making bank doing it. It pleases me even more now when I finally beat a particularly challenging level even though I've played enough to see that the game will eventually give it to you if you're patient enough. I'd give it 5 stars if not for greed factor mentioned earlier.
Another easy King game
I don't see how King makes any money off most of these games anymore, there are so many ways to earn boosters that nobody should ever need to purchase any.
Sure some of the levels are ridiculously difficult if not nearly impossible - especially upon being newly-released - but they are almost always nerfed fairly quickly. Just be patient with these levels until they're changed(most recently 1779,1789, and 1810 are prime examples).
I've never hit the jackpot on the wheel either and I've spun it twice a day for over two years now. Can't complain really because whatever you happen to land on is free. I'd much rather save my luck for hitting a real jackpot at a casino anyway.
All in all this is yet another easy game from King if you have patience and don't feel the need to rush through the levels. I've spent in total about $3 on this game years ago before I had enough friends to unlock the next sets, and this is before there were timers to unlock them for free. Not a bad investment as I'm right up at the end levels on this and three other King games on which I've spent nothing. My only wish is that mobile and desktop levels would be synced and not have a two-week delay on mobile.
