Customer service admits to security breaches. DO NOT USE
And now the check deposit feature doesn't work. This app development team is a real bunch of winners.
September 20: You should be aware that Capital One experienced a security breach that allowed hackers to transfer money to accounts opened fraudulently. I lost access to my account and money for two full weeks due to this. After dozens of hours on the phone with customer service and several overdue bills and credit card due dates (because I couldn't access any of my money), they did absolutely nothing to assist me. It remains nearly impossible to deposit any way other than direct deposit.
As of October 14, the check deposit feature continues not to work. It also doesn't work on their website. The people at customer service admit to knowing about this and suggest I mail my checks to be deposited. It will only take 5-10 business days after receipt of check. I'm closing my account with these clowns.
Great app, today widget okay
I love the app, works great and I never have any problems. My biggest issue (since iOS 10) is the lack of a widget.
FINALLY ADDED ONE!
It's a great step, I say step because I'd rather is be more like my banks and other cards widget. You can only see the balance for a couple hours, then you have to tap it and go back to the app to sign in for it to work again. I'd much rather it just have an option in the app to constantly show balance in the widget.
Ridiculously Easy
I love this app and use it ALL THE TIME!! I pay my bill, check my balance and check it to keep an eye open to watch for any fraudulent activity. Using credit cards has it issues with people obtaining your information. So thrilled this app is available, I couldn't imagine anyone not finding it ridiculously easy to use!
