Save those moments of beauty

What a fantastic idea. Wish I’d had something like this years ago. This addresses a common use case for me - I’m riffing in Ableton Live, loving some stuff, but then getting distracted by some other aspect of a composition. I forget what I was doing, and the moment is lost. This will help me get it back! It’s already found its way into my workflow, and I doubt I’d ever turn it off. If I had one suggestion it would be to allow filtering of event types (mixer control messages, non-notes, etc.) Great job.

Works just fine on El Capitan

Works on El Capitan. It did take me a sec to figure out where the app was hiding because it’s not obvious.
Go to the upper right corner, click the MIDI icon, click the preference gears, choose “detach as window”. Voila!
I agree, this should be the default behaviour so users don’t think the program is a bust.

Awesome program… does what it says. Metronome lacks 3/4, 6/8 and odd times otherwise I’d give it a 5 star rating.

Now you can capture your best bits while noodling

This is a neat, simple little MIDI capture tool that can be used as an easy add-in to DAWs and soft synths. It works exactly as advertised & well worth $7. Now you have a way to recapture the best bits from your jam sessions using any connected MIDI device.
