Long time user disappointed with update
I have always loved carbuzz, the stories, while commonly full grammar errors, are short, sweet, and to the point. What sets this app apart from competition is the ability to leave comments on pages throughout the articles which usually leads to opinionated debates about the topics. However with the most recent update I find the app is prone to crashing and more annoyingly the comments won't pop up until I force close and reopen the app. Since these changes I have found myself using Motortrend more often than before. I hope to see these bugs corrected soon but carbuzz is notoriously slow about correcting flaws in its program. As a long time user of the app I definitely would recommend it to anyone, but I would also warn them that you are going to have to be patient. I plan to change my rating once the app is fixed again.
Good bit not great.
I have read carbuzz every day for almost 5 years. But this new update has definitely had some flaws. The first and most serious flaw is that sometimes I open the app and it is just a grey screen and sometimes if I'm lucky I get the banner and the "next 10" button at the top, and I have an iPhone 6s+, so it's not like my phone is too old for it to run properly. The next little nit-picky things are grammatical errors and the over use of polls, and sometimes the news is old and I often find myself reading 1/4th of the articles. Hope next update will be better as I think this app deserves to be better.
I have always enjoyed the app and the stories - as others have noted, there are consistent issues with poor writing and grammar and the ability to leave and interact with notes is limited, but the source material is usually interesting. My issue with the current version is that every time I open a story, I can never go to the next page of stories (i.e. the "Next 10" button at the bottom of the page). That button us disabled until and unless I get all the way out of the app, clear the history, and start it again. I hope they can figure out how to fix that.
