Card Shark Collection™
By Easy 8 Software
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Card Shark includes a diverse and growing collection of solitaire and traditional card games. Card Shark is iPad and retina display compatible, and features the ability to install custom tables, card backs, and even card fronts.
Supported games include: Klondike (Classic Solitaire), FreeCell, Cassino, Canfield, Basic Rummy, Gin Rummy, Rummy 500, Spider Solitaire, Cruel Solitaire, Beleaguered Castle, Spiderette, Bristol Solitaire, Hearts, Memory Match (Concentration), Speed Match, Calculation, Forty Thieves, Euchre (US), Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better Draw Poker, Aces Up, Spades (non-partnership variant), Limit Texas Hold 'Em, Speed, Batsford Solitaire, Josephine, Red & Black, Sea Towers, Crazy Eights, Tripeaks, Golf, Eagle Wing, Pyramid, Old Maid, War, Go Fish, 13 Packs (aka Grandma's Game), Royal Cotillion, Blackjack (21), Royal Parade, Thieves of Egypt, Scorpion, Pile On, Montana, Canfield, Clock Solitaire, Kings Corner, Russian Cell, Yukon, I Doubt It, Four Seasons, Crescent, Osmosis (aka Treasure Trove), Canasta, La Belle Lucie, Australian Solitaire, Egyptian Ratscrew, SheepsHead(new), Kings in the Corner, Eight Off, Queenie (new), Samara (new)
Card Shark combines a silky smooth 3d presentation with tasteful animation, sounds, and an elegant drag-drop interface that has been lovingly fine-tuned for the touch screen. Touches and drag targets are forgiving, and piles are automatically split following completed gestures. Touch foundation piles to automatically complete a game.
Why clutter your device with separate card games, when you can stock it with a quality collection that continues to be expanded and improved regularly based on user requests?
- layouts for left/right handed stock placement
- infinite undo/redo supported in all solitaire variants
- tap foundation to autoplay cards
- does not interfere with ipod background music
- automatically saved/resumed games & statistics
- multiple cards fronts, backs, and tables with ability to install new ones from your photo library
An online FAQ is available through the in-game help system. This answers common questions about the supported games and offers a sneak peak at features and new games slated for the next update. Feature and new game requests are always welcome.

What's New in Version 9.0.3
Fix for elapsed time/statistics regression when app suspended/resumed.
I've tried most of the card apps, and I like this one better than all the others. It works great, and the developer keeps adding games to the app.
Update: This is still one of my favorite card apps. Unlike some people, I don’t want to play “real” people. Other companies have ruined their games when they switched to multi-player. I started playing Card Shark on my Mac long before the iPad was released. Now I play on both platforms. They have added many new games over the years. The rules are just a click away if you want to learn new games.
Two wishes: I wish a card would automatically move to the foundation when I click on them (instead of dragging). And I wish they would add Bridge.
Always stimulating and refreshing
I have enjoyed this on my iTouch for the last few years, but recently bought an iPad and now see the games in a whole new light!! When I awake, before much of the day passes I play a few rounds. While at home I may play another round or two or three. Between work assignments, off the clock, I give it a go again for a few rounds. And by day's end, I have racked up a dozen or more games ...with a few before bed. This series is entertaining, addictive and simply refreshing while stimulating my gray tater that is rapidly turning white. I does what I expected and much more. Thanks, folks, for a fun game.
Still a favorite
I keep very few games on my iDevices. This one makes the cut because it is fun, stable, and packs a lot of games into a single product. Tip: use the favorites feature to keep your choices on the first screen, and don't forget to explore all the others.
I'll add that the developer has done a great job keeping the app current while preserving usability - minor enhancements without unnecessary feature creep that sometimes happens with updates.
