Cardiograph is an application which measures your heart rate. You can save your results for future reference, keep track of multiple people with individual profiles, add notes and locations, and even print out your measurements for sharing or safe keeping.
Cardiograph uses your device's built-in camera to take pictures of your fingertip and calculate your heart's rhythm - the same approach used by professional medical equipment!

• Measure your heart rate
It's never been easier to know what your heart rate is! Without any external hardware, just using the built-in camera of your smartphone or tablet, you can get accurate readings almost instantly.
Knowing how fast your heart is beating can be very useful when exercising, if you're under stress, if you have a heart-related medical condition, or even just out of curiosity.

Every measurement you take is saved to your personal history, so you can keep track over time. In addition to the date and time of the measurement, you can also save the location at which it was taken (and see them on a map), and even add a quick note to effortlessly organize your history.

Unique by could be more useful
This is the only app that records your pulse pattern, not just the bpm figure, and enables you to send that pattern chart via pdf. That's great!
Unfortunately the app doesn't expect or accept irregular rates. Those with afib (there are millions) and their doctors would find it VERY useful to have this app record irregular heartbeat patterns. Please consider making such a change!
Love this app
Takes a little to figure out how to hold your finger consistently. But once you have it it's easy. And compared equal to what the physician found. And as I don't use a health app yet not bothered by it not doing a handshake.

Have been using this app since February of 2012 and it has been awesome. Enjoy the design choices made by the developer and its low amount of clutter and ease of use. Well done.
