Do you ever feel overwhelmed with keeping track of your caseload? Caseload Tracker is an app that helps special education teachers and speech-language pathologists to stay up-to-date on the deadlines of their students, manage students’ goals, and track students’ details. Caseload Tracker provides an easy and efficient way to keep track of student information, while still protecting the information with an app specific password.
Caseload managers are able to use this app to enter student information such as name, DOB, case managers, phone logs, goals, disability areas, and specific information regarding speech and language target areas.

The application also provides an advanced alert system that provides a color coded alert to the user as to due dates for each student. Caseload managers can track IEP meetings due dates, evaluation due dates, and eligibility due dates.

Color coded alerts of upcoming deadlines combined with push notification alerts of total numbers of students with upcoming due dates make this app a wonderful SLPs and teachers need to keep up with their caseloads.

Users are able to enter as many students as they would like, associate an icon to each student, and enter information on each student’s profile.

On the caseload view, you are able to narrow down students by classification, categories and by schools. This is a feature that will allow speech pathologist working at multiple schools to narrow down their caseload to a specific school.

The app is password protected which allows SLPs and teachers to keep and protect confidential information.
Therapists and teachers can also e-mail student lists, or specific student profile information to iBooks, dropbox, email or directly to the printer.

Caseload Tracker was envisioned by Bob Bateman, M.S; CCC-SLP and developed by Smarty Ears.
Bob Bateman MS, CCC-SLP is an educational speech-language pathologist working with kids from age 3 to 21, currently in a public school district in Utah. Mr. Bateman graduated from Utah State University in 2007.

Ratings and Reviews

Good concept but...

Please update this app to make it better. It could be such a wonderful app. Things I think should be improved.
1. Notifications for Evals should alert at least 60 days before an a eval is due, not 30 days. If I get an alert 30 days before an EVAL is due I still have to set up a meeting, get permission to evaluate , write the report and set up a second meeting, 30 days is just not enough time.
2. I wish we could send the caseload by school rather than all students listed in the app.. I work at 3 different schools and need to be able to send each school my caseload without breaking any confidentiality laws.

Social Workers can use this app too...

I've finally found an app that's close to what I've been looking for, for years!! The color codes and highlights for reminders are a plus. I know this app was designed to accommodate educators and speech therapist, but it can also accommodate anyone that has a caseload with various reminders. However, it would be perfect if reminders could be personalized and more reminder fields can be added to cater to the professional that's using the app. Again, hats off to the developers and continue to improve this app to accommodate more professions.

Not Worth the Money!

I paid quite a bit of money for an app that is totally useless. I deleted it within hours of purchasing because of the crashing and inability to make the app useful last year. I was hoping that it would be updated, yet it is still not worthy of my time and the Smarty Ears company still has my money. I would love to be able to track goals and data for each of the student I work with since I have yet to find an app that will do so, but first a way of inputting students without the app crashing every time would be a start. I do not recommend this app to any special education teacher. Save your hard earned money.
