Introducing Cat-O-Matic, the perfect way to have some loopy fun with your pets!
Your iPhone can do a lot of things. It can give you access to all the information on the entire world wide web. It can show you how to get to the nearest coffee shop. It can figure out what songs you like. It can even teach you math.
But can it convince your pets (or perhaps your friends and relatives) that there are invisible cats roaming your house with the click of a button?
Well, NOW IT CAN!
Just fire up Cat-O-Matic, push the "Randomize" button, and hide your iPhone or iPod Touch somewhere. Every 5-20 seconds, it will play a perfectly reproduced sound of a cat meowing, purring, hissing or making another weird sound cats make. Or if you'd rather control the action yourself, you can play any of the many unique sounds manually, using a friendly (and amusing) interface.
Cat-O-Matic works great on energetic cats and dogs. Don't know whether it works great on guinea pigs, iguanas, sloths, elephants or fish. Probably not fish.
If you have more than one pet, our tests - which were conducted with the use of SCIENCE! - have shown that they often seem to blame one another for the unexplained noises. This is hilarious, and not to be missed.
Also effective on many humans!
Cat-O-Matic is NOT intended to aid in the willful disruption of classrooms. It's possibly intended to aid in the disruption of dinner... But we didn't tell you that.
However you want to use it, Cat-O-Matic will be the best almost-a-buck you've ever spent in the App Store. It's less expensive than a large automobile, and more useful than a frozen burrito. You can't go wrong!
Cat-O-Matic: Hilarity Ensues.
NOTE: No animals were harmed, distressed, or mistreated in any way during the recording of the sound clips - we're all cat lovers here! I suppose "Magnolia" - who you can see/hear in the full version - might have been a little annoyed, since she just hissed at the microphone a bunch of times. But all kitties involved were treated lovingly and received plenty of treats.
My cat got out and ran away a week ago while we were moving, the carrier broke when I was carrying her inside and she took off. I got the idea of downloading a cat sound app to try and attract her cause I knew the general area where she was hiding. So I went up to the fence and started playing the sounds and don't you know I see her in the other side of the fence meowing back to the app. Granted I didn't catch her because she took back off by the time I got around to her but this app let me know that she's ok and I'm getting closer to getting my baby back.
Ming loves it
She always answers, even though this app has only one dumb cat "Bozo"- Ming reacted better to the full version which I lost. Whenever she is hiding, I start this app with "randomize" and she ALWAYS comes out to check it out. If yer cats don't respond to this app, they are either deaf? Or not within pointy earshot. MAO!
Sounds very realistic. I wouldn't recommend this app to be used around multiple kitties. My kitties heard it and soon they were fighting with one another. They have never had a fight before now. And, I have bad cat owner guilt now too. So it must be pretty realistic. Atleast my girls thought so.
