What's New in Version 1.0.139
In terms of quality and content, this game has broken the limits of an iPhone game. While the story is pretty general, I can say after playing for about 7 hours, the side quests are numerous compared to other games like these iPhone RPGs. The transitions are flawless, sounds on point, and commentary seems alive, with variable sounds effects played based off a character's dialogue. Very unique and well thought out. Love the dev's secret areas and that they can take producing a game of this high quality lightly. The biggest drive to play this is the nice leveling system, clearly a lot of effort put into it. Another great thing about this app is that you only pay once, something many apps are lacking these days. And I don't mean that in the traditional sense where there may be a hidden currency or some weird watch ads to progress thing, I mean: this game brings you along smoothly and has great progression, making you feel that it never will even need a paying element to it. Meaning you won't feel that it would benefit from such a thing as microtransactions. I know most of what I have wrote is hard to explain, all You Must Know is that The Game Is Worth More Than The Price Tag. This is PC quality. The developers have really outdone themselves and I wish them luck on their journey to produce a second.
Battles are complete no-go:(
Bottom line: wait till it will be on discount or updated seriously...
Wanted to love this game. Most of things are great. But a battling system... isn't it important part of the game? Well, it's a failure. I just keep on dying because taps usually register not what I mean to do. And it's not that fun - just a regular timing thing: run close, hit, run away. Except due to touch screen it usually does something else. At times you tap to run away - magic works. You tap on monster - and you just run. Also, it is completely uninspiring and uninteresting...
Suddenly the fight ends and you skip 2-3 windows of dialog, completely falling out of the story. No fun:(
Looks like it was a bad port from gamepad or something. Does not work OK on smaller iPhone screen. Controls work way better on iPad, but graphics on iPad is not as good. There are pixels here and there and the whole scale of detailing clearly was not made with big screen in mind.
Dying because of controls and not because of your actions and loosing story because developers did not think about interface hard enough is no good:(
I super beat the game
Loved the game and the story. I became a ninja kitty thief thanks to the ninja gear. Yes there is better gear but I don't care. I had a great time doing all the quest but the funniest part was going into dungeons and stealing the treasure bahahha😈
I found out how to get the big chest and after that I made it my mission to enter any dungeon and steal the treasure for the gear. I ended up a level 20 stealing from the level 200 dungeon. Strategy keeps you alive while you keep dodging attacks and pulling enemies away from the treasure. If you are smart and kill an enemy you gain so much xp do to the huge level difference. In the end I was like F it and I grinned out Hidden Cave a level 99 dungeon for the coins and to hit level 100. Totally unnecessary but whatev. I enjoyed it.
Great Game and I hope we get to fight the dogs in the next Cat Quest adventure. Better yet just make an update and give me the option for the purchase. I'm getting it.
