CBS is relevant, important and entertaining news time
Bravo! Finally, a morning news team that I can listen to with faith that no one is going to break out in a song and dance routine amidst giving me the rundown on the days headlines!
Love the team interaction and chemistry. Charlie Rose, what a coup! Gayle King, who would have thought that her grace, intelligence and charm would be revealed during the early morning news hour. Fantastic.
Please keep the format. Morning news with my coffee is a great way to start the morning, and CBS has delivered. I love different; no silly banter ( although humor is brilliant amongst the three hosts) or cooking segments or even give always. Just continue with pointed questions, polite discourse and being kind to one another.
What is going on?
What the heck has happened to this app. I have had the same news for 5 days. No updating. Or half updated half not. Ceases to be news if not updated. This app has always had trouble with commercials--too many, running the same commercials over and over and content. Who comes up with these commercials--If Toyota is trying to recover their image as a safe auto company first with sappy commercials then with the Camry roller coaster ride they need a new marketing firm and strategy and if CBS news wants to help their advertising clients they must come up with something better then what they are doing. Basically they create consumers that will NEVER buy the product. I have deleted this app many times and come back hoping that at some point CBS will do right by Charlie, Norah, Gayle, John Miller and many of the excellent reporters. I like the reporting, the analysis, the topics--but CBS must do better!
App reminds all horrible stories of ACA web site, and works similarly. Click on the app, the updating banner appears then goes away, a moment later the full screen 268HP Toyota ad takes over, close the ad then the CTM content appears. Check "THE RUN DOWN", it shows content from the 20th Nov with still one entry for ACA latest. The Run Down entries will not play anything. Back to the main page and play some videos, the old contents are still there and great materials, just old. CTM iPad app normally played new videos around couple hours after the morning live broadcast. Now this app is solid one star for being consistent in showing old news. Is there a self imposed deadline to fix this bug, example: end of this month? In the mean time, visiting the other net work news seems refreshing.
