This app has helped me so much over the past few years! It guides you easily (and almost without realizing it) the thought process to calm down, take stock of what’s happening, and re-construct your thoughts. I am in 100% agreement that this updated version needs to put back the end of quiz stress rating tool to see how much it has helped.
Missing an important step
I used to recommend this app to my therapy clients, and mostly appreciate the simplicity of it, but wish that the updated version gives an additional question at the end about re-rating the emotional distress. One of the best parts of thought records is noticing the decrease in emotional distress by taking the before and after rating and seeing how they compare.
Simple, functional, helpful!
This app is such a wonderful guide as I practice using CBT methods to manage my anxiety. I am so pleased with the examples provided and the uncomplicated form for journaling.
