Bug fixes and style changes
Maps don't work
Sadly this app's maps say it's dry across the Denver metro and I-70 mountain corridor when you select the road conditions layer on the map. In reality the roads are snowy and icy so the info is way off. I tried to delete and re download the app in hopes of solving the issue but it did not work. In addition to the Rowd condition layer being whack, the message board layer is also working incorrectly. Instead of showing the actual message displayed on the message boards located across the state with weather and travel advisories it shows a generic drive safely message on the app. If you can't trust the info you are getting, what is the point of the app???
Unfortunately pre-iOS 7, and crashes on iOS 10
The design of the app hasn't changed with the various iOS updates, and it's now very dated. It still provides the basic information, but it's almost impossible to touch the various areas of the screen, especially in a moving car, since the touchpoints haven't been expanded for the latest screen resolutions.
In addition, touching any of the Locations causes the app to crash. This has not been fixed in the most recent rev.
I end up having to use the web site most of the time as a result. Very unfortunate!
I-70 DIA to past Vail
I mainly use this app for this section of 1-70 and it has stood me well. Calling in will do the same job if there is phone service but often there is only data service available and this or the website is available. For those that live up here's sake it would be nice if the travel times went past Vail, perhaps to EGE airport or further.
I haven't fooled with the GPS, etc.
