To enroll in our Mobile Banking, you must be a CEFCU member or business member and use our CEFCU On-Line® web banking. To enroll, go to cefcu.com, log in to CEFCU On-Line, click the Mobile tab, and follow the directions.
CEFCU’s Mobile Banking offers members and business members the same level of protection as CEFCU On-Line has. CEFCU On-Line uses Multifactor Authentication (MFA), which provides additional layers of security. MFA helps you make sure unauthorized users are not accessing your Mobile Banking information; and that you are on CEFCU's Mobile Banking site, not a fake site. In addition to MFA, CEFCU uses 128-bit secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption, monitors and constantly updates systems, and utilizes multiple security layers and strong business practices to help ensure your financial information remains safe and secure. In doing so, CEFCU complies with government rules regarding online security.

Contrary to some other reviewers, I have been very pleased with this app. It is easy and intuitive to use (other than the sign up process). I actually like it more than the full website version. I don't require beautiful graphics while I'm paying my Visa or transferring money from savings to checking. I just want to do it quickly and easily. It works well for that. I love the ability to easily find free ATMs when I'm traveling. I would like it if it would save my ID and I only had to enter the password but beyond that I can't think of anything else it needs.
I'm very happy the CEFCU finally came out with a convenient way to access your bank account on a mobile device. However, the graphics of the app are of the quality of apps when the iPhone first came out. It's also very slow, and signing in is as much of a hassle as it is on the desktop site. I wish that it saved your information and just had you sign in with a PIN every time just like the PayPal app and many others out on the app store. Also, it keeps signing me out and when I try to sign back in it tells me the page cannot be found. I'm hoping to find some kind of way to give direct feedback to the developers for further suggestions.
At least there's an app
It's a good first attempt but lacks a lot! I would like to see the option to remember user name, and when I log in I would like it to default to the main menu instead of account balances screen. The view details is horrible, after clicking on the item to view the details (which should just display on the front page to begin with) and then hitting the back button I get an error and have to close the app and restart. Please fix! I would use this app every day if it was a little smoother.
