Password is NOT the same as for the website.

The app worked fine once I found out that the "Password" the mobile app asks for is NOT the same as the password needed for Online Banking (the website). Typically it's a 4-digit number, and it's sometimes (confusingly) referred to as a PIN, sometimes as a Password.
I'm deducting a star because I feel this wasn't made at all clear, and I experienced so much time and frustration being repeatedly locked out of the app for using a password which I knew worked perfectly well at the website. So, more clarity please. Even now it's unclear to me whether your mobile "password" can be set to anything other than a 4-digit number; tech support thought it could be up to 15 characters, but so far I've only gotten 4-digit numbers to work.

Works great for day to day banking

I’ve been using the app for years. I mostly use it to check my account transactions but have also used the check deposit feature dozens of times. It’s very handy and saves a trip to the bank.

Recently there was an update that disabled finger print ID. Having not used my password in years, of course I’d forgotten it. CPB customer service got me back in and told me to delete and reinstall the app to get fingerprint ID to work again. It didn’t work. It wasn’t until I went into Settings and found a switch to enable fingerprint ID that it worked again. I had to quit the app and log in again, but then it asked for my print. Works perfectly now. Thanks CPB for making banking easy.

Needs improvement

I use my phone for many things, including my banking, until now. On at least 2 separate occasions, I have made transfers using this app and I receive the “transfer successful” message and it reflects on the account, but later came to find out that it did not transfer at all. And on the most recent issue I had scheduled payments right after I transferred the money to be taken out by ACH and instead was almost charged NSF fees 3 times for them because it hadn’t transferred.

There is only that stupid “ transfer successful “ message that pops up after for confirmation. There should be a text that gets sent to your mobile that confirms the transfer along with a reference number and details, and a page on the app with the same info we can screenshoot for our records.

Also, would be a good idea to have a page that we can access that shows pending transfers like it does online.

Until then, this is nothing more that something to look at your balance in my opinion. Wouldn’t trust the numbers even then, at least until this can be updated with those safety features I mentioned.
