Chain Reaction is an addictive game that is very simple: Clear the level of bombs. To do so you are given explosions that must cause chain reactions with the bombs on the level. The less explosions you use the more points you get.
- Fun to watch Explosions
- Keep track of your high score
- 50 levels of gameplay
- 3 levels of difficulty (easy, medium, and hard)
- Automatic Game Saving
- Free UPDATES forever! We planning on adding new gameplay features often so this game will never be old
I've read the comments and e-mails people sent. Thank you very much for all your suggestions!
Here is the current list of features i'm working that will be released in the near future:
1. Sound and Music
3. More Backgrounds
4. Bonus points, and better points system.
If anyone has any feature requests (i'll gladly add them to my list) or comments please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
What's New in Version 1.3
- Added Background Music
Not the most original concept as it's a knockoff of Boomshine but this could be the better game.
Unlike the single tap (bomb) per round of the other game, Chain Reaction's rounds last until all dots are gone or until you run out of bombs (game over). The flow is soothing, though I now need 20 minutes to play to top my high of 45,670 points.
Much needed improvements are: Sound. This silent game is begging for music. The devs should contact Brian Eno and use the sounds from Bloom. Please.
The rounds do start jerkily after each is completed. Doesn't matter much as think that time is a non factor (bonuses should be given for completing a round fast). And of course, all arcade games need an online leaderboard to create more excitement. Don't they realize we love that and that feature will boost sales? This currently only saves your one best score. For now, at least give us our top ten.
Update: I have beat all 50 levels with a score of 122,900. Please don't limit us to 50 levels as I would like to keep playing. Now that I beat it, the incentive to play us not as great. This game is awesome and is deserving of a better rate. And I'm a tough reviewer with my phone fully loaded with great stuff. This will stay on my first page for a long time.
A color filled version of the best part of missle command
My favorite part of Missle Command was trying to stratigically place the perfect bomb in defense...and now that is the game in a nutshell. I actually liked the game a whole lot better before the most recent upgrade. Now the second the last dot hit you bomb you immediately go to the next level. Maybe it could be revised to give you the option to hit the screen again on the last bomb if one can not wait. The music added to the game has put this over the top. Great choice.
Better than I expected
I grabbed this while it was free to check it out and would now say it is well worth the 99 cents. Thought it might be weak, but it's actually very nicely done and somewhat addictive. Relaxing to play, well-designed and fun, once you've played a couple games to get the hang of it. Incidentally, I find the early levels harder than the later ones.
