Just choose a charity and get moving - Charity Miles helps you earn money for every mile you move!
This challenge term (June 1, 2016 - May 31, 2017), we will be paying our sponsorship pool (currently $500,000) to our charity partners in proportion to the miles tracked for each charity. So far, our members have helped earn over $2 million for their charities by tracking their steps and miles covered.
But we're not just about earning money for charity. Because moving with purpose changes us from within. It changes the way we see the world, and all the small decisions we make every day. All those decisions add up to impact that is far more transformational than money.
We'd love to have you on our team and encourage you to get active. Whether it's walking in the park, biking to work, running a 5k race or anything else, turn your workouts into money for charity!

Great App But....
This is a great app. In fact, so good that my school used it for a project in school where over a period of time. It is great for students but teachers, be aware that students can cheat by choose "Bike Ride" when they're in the car or on the bus. Also, fir the app creators, every time we walk there should be a feature to tell us how much money I raised. For example, I walked .986 miles and raised $1.00 but I wouldn't know that because it didn't tell me. Overall I gave this app 4 stars because it can easily be manipulated and needed features it doesn't have. Also, I forgot to mention how great of a cause it's for.
Miles go to charity
It's nice to have something I do already be a benefit toward others. The one thing I don't like is the app uses your gps to track your miles, rather than syncing with the health app or some other app that tracks your steps. There are plenty of charities to chose from but it would be awesome if they could use the gps to find some local charities to donate to.
I like Charity Miles
I like using Charity Miles because: 1) they challenge me to get out and walk, run or bike for a charity, 2) I can donate money just by exercising, 3) it helps me keep track of my mileage. Sure there’s glitch once in awhile, but Gene always says what it is and it gets fixed quickly. Try it, you just might like it!
