As one of Charm City Circulator’s primary goals is to provide convenience and innovation to transit, our app has been built to work hand in hand with our services for the same reason. That means up to date information regarding all of the routes when you need it most. Customers are #1 with the Charm City Circulator, through our transit services, website, and now our app!
Average but needs a few changes:
This app is decent with respect to bus schedule accuracy. Unless there is a traffic jam the arrival times are correct.
However the app needs to be changed to account for daily commuters who want to see bus arrival times for the same 2 stops every day. Add the ability to "tag" certain bus stops or "favorite" them so arrival times for those stops will be shown automatically when opening the program.
The CCC website allows you to see a live picture of where buses are currently located. Update the app to include this functionality so people can plan ahead when to leave in order to catch a bus at a certain time.
I rely on the Circulator to catch my morning train. The "Next Bus" feature would be great, but it doesn't seem to be based on when the next will "actually" arrive. I assume it must be based on the time the next bus is "scheduled" to arrive. The gap between those two times varies widely. This could be an essential app, instead it's just another app that I rarely open.
No clickable route map?!
The route map doesn't show the address and can be hard to pinpoint a stop. Also, the stops on the map don't let you click to see more info on the stop...like when the next bud is coming. You have to leave the map and go to the schedule part of the app for that. Lame design!
