Description
The game Pokemon Go has no in-game location based chat so we decided to make one for Pokemon Go ourselves. The current features available at this time are the ability to post to specific locations (where Pokemon Go has pokemon, gyms, etc), the ability to direct message players who play Pokemon Go that are nearby from their posts (by holding down on a post and clicking "message"), and personal profiles and profile pictures.
GoChat is the new geolocation based augmented reality adventure. Our app let's you easily capture and battle with others. Which of the three teams are you on?
You may only see posts or message users directly from their posts if you are close enough to the location of the post itself. If you are too far away, much like the PoGo game itself, the app will notify you that you are too far to view the post and that you must get closer in order to do so. We believe that this will allow for a more seamless chat experience that will go hand in hand with the PoGo game.

AMAZING. Just a lit more help.
I think this app is amazing. It's going to blow.
1. I just think it should have something a little bit like Instagram where you can post your Pokemon go progress or the Pokemon you have or even if you are looking for a Pokemon and you would like to trade with someone for it.
2. Privacy is something huge and I don't really feel that comfortable knowing that everyone can see my current location. There's a lot of sickos out in this world and not saying that any would join this app but you know. Anything can happen. Maybe if there is a time limit for how long people see your current location. You can set certain places to limits like at home you have people see your location for say 1 hour then it turn off until you leave that location or turn it back on.
That's everything that I have observed in the short time it has been out and in the short time I have used it. Keep up the good work and p.s

Horrible Experience
Well let's just start off by saying that this application is beyond broken and terribly frustrating to use. I do not understand how an app can be so simple, with only 3 real things to do in it, and be as broken as this. You can barely ever get it to properly load (if you can create a profile at all) and you also have your privacy COMPLETELY violated when you post something. Your location is broadcasted for everybody (SO DO NOT POST ANYTHING WHILE IN YOUR HOME) and you can not delete your posts even if it gives you the option to. I feel that the concept of the app is great but at the same time not well constructed. If they had the option to include or exclude location when posting something I would feel much more safe using this application as I can see how it could be used for bad intent purposes. *****So in other words please fix this option if you don't want to make people unsafe (and don't want lawsuits)!*****
Good concept needs work.
I give it 4 stars because I really like the idea and it works to a point but it's really buggy and when you pick your radius sometimes you can't see anything it says there's no posts, other times it shows people around you posting and then other times you get people all over the world and no one around you. And the messages are annoying, no notifications and if you click on them literally half the time it restarts the whole app which if you were seeing people around you writing now they're gone and it's all around the world or nothing. And then posting takes forever to see you posted or someone else posted. A lot needs fixed but I like it and hope it can be fixed up!
