Customer Reviews

Promising, but bad for extended use

I thought this concept was great when I first saw it. I installed it enthusiastically and tried it out, but was somewhat disappointed. It’s riddled with bugs and poor design decisions. For example, when you click on a head, it takes almost a full second for it to actually expand the window. A good 30% of messages or so cause your scroll position in a chat window to be reset up to the top, so you have to scroll all the way down to chat more. There’s no alerts system so you can’t preview any messages sent to you. Messages don’t get grouped together, so each one takes a lot of space. There’s no way to use keyboard shortcuts to open a head, so I have to click on it every time I want to expand it (no Cmd+Tab shortcut). The browser is still a much better way to chat, unfortunately.

Not quite 5 stars!

I am usually a fan of reading as many reviews as i can before installing stuff. I decided to give this app a shot. I can say this, it works. There are bugs here and there and those things have not made me stop using it. I can only see this as getting better provided the developer keep up with improvements. They say they are funded by in app purchases for the rest of the things associated with the app, so they got some funding from me. I want to see it get better.

Nice, but needs to change desktops.

This app is very helpful, even if it does require extra purchases to actually be able to use it. The only thing it needs is to be able to stay in the active desktop. For example, I’ll be writing something in pages on my desktop and I’ll be able to use this app, but if I switch to my full screen web browser, I can’t use this app. That would be a great addition.
