Needs A Lot of Work!
They've got the right idea but there is a long way to go. I can't call it a "1" because it's not a complete waste, but there's so much that needs to be done, a "2" is the best I can do and I wouldn't recommend it yet.
The app need to a sort capability at a minimum. Also, you need to be able to clear fields; for example, if you select a "feel" and then decide the description isn't right, and you don't want to use any of the offered descriptions, the only way to clear that field is to delete the entry and start again. It would also be helpful to be able to add notes beyond those offered (even if just a free-form "Notes" field). While entering the initial data, I had at least one incident where it crashed and all data were lost. Would like to be able to note where cheese was purchased/tasted. I'm sure there's more that needs to be done (and my wish-list for this app is certainly much longer), but until some of these issues are addressed, I'm probably not going to do much with the app.
I do like the rating scale (from Unfit for "Consumption" to "Cheese of the Gods") - I'm sure it doesn't match any rating scales used by cheeseophiles (not sure if this is a word, but you know what I mean), but there's no question what you think!
What a disappointment
Don't waste your money. There's no way to sort/filter your cheeses, and no option for notes - so you just get a long list of cheese in no particular order. More importantly, I spent a lot of time adding cheese info and the next time I restarted my phone, everything but the names had been erased and I wasn't able to recover the data.
Choke on my dollar whoopknacker
Simply doesn't work. Put info in and it didn't save any of it. Your better off spending your dollar on the vampire diaries board game at a borders going out of business liquidation.
