PRESS & AWARDS:
"I am certainly more inclined to trust a chef with a name (and a reputation to guard) than the anonymous grouch who gives a great cafe a low rating after having to wait five minutes for a table." – New York Times
"My favourite app… is ChefsFeed—it gives you awesome food recommendations from great chefs in each city." – Aziz Ansari, Vogue

Lazy App Creator! Nothing Local!
The app is beautiful but the creator should never have released it until every small city has their restaurant included in it. I live in Redbank New Jersey and we have four and five star restaurants that are packed with waiting lists. We have valet parking and incredible chefs working here. Our Main Street “Broad Street” has seafood cuisine and original dishes that are as good as New York City restaurants. The creators of this app or only including cities like New York city Los Angeles San Francisco etc. Cities with millions of people only? What is the creator of this app to just copy it out of cuisine magazines or the phonebook? I get better information out of Yelp!!
You wasted my time and I imagine the only way you’re making money with this is from the restaurants that paid you to be on it. I am not going to travel 20 miles for a seafood talk at all when I have incredible restaurants 1 mile away from my house would you failed to include.
Shame on you! You don’t deserve a listing on The App Store. If you create an app as beautiful as this one you should include content. That’s why they say don’t judge a book by its cover because your cover is incredible but your contact is empty. Fix your app and I gladly change you to a four or five stars if you were work in.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for the feedback, and we’re glad you like the design! We’re always expanding to new cities but unfortunately can’t yet be everywhere. In the meantime you can use ChefsFeed when you do travel to these cities, plus dish and restaurant recommendations are only part of the app - there is also a variety of chef-powered videos and articles that you can check out from anywhere. Lastly, restaurants can’t pay to be in ChefsFeed - they're added when chefs recommend their dishes.
Waste of space
First it’s difficult to use. I first tried it with all settings on. It only gave me one place in my city. That one showed up three times & was clearly added by the owner. I looked at list of restaurant types under filters & it is mainly Asian types ... like Mediterranean is not even there much less sub types. So I think it must just be my city. I turn location off. Nope, they really are not there. Then no matter where I try to search it insists I am in Abilene?! & will not allow a nationwide search by any filters or by chosen city. It is never really going to work as the chefs are really just owners or cooks apparently looking for free advertising - not recommending other restaurants. Deleting.
The city guides and videos are the best!!
I love using Chefsfeed when I’m out of town and want to find somewhere amazing to eat! Yelp reviews just don’t cut it, I never really know who to trust. But these are professional chefs recommending their favorite dishes when they aren’t cooking themselves! Yes please! Their videos are also super fun to watch, not your typical food content! I’m a Chefsfeed fan for life!!
