Gotta Go is a way to generate excuses and set them as alarms. It's the perfect solution for bad dates, awkward convos with your in-laws, boring meetings and whatever else you might want to hit the eject button on.
Creating an excuse is easy! Choose an emoji and craft a story by adding messages and calls. Add the special contact number to your address book and set the alarm. Your excuse will be delivered to you as actual text messages and phone calls from your newly created contact, all the proof you need to smoothly exit an awkward situation.
With Gotta Go, getting caught in crummy situations is a thing of the past!

This app works just as the description states, allows customization, and is simple and fun to use.
I don't see any other reviews so to be clear, I do not work for Chelsea Handler or her app company, but I watched her show about making an app. This is exactly the app they created in the show.
Also great for lining up smoke breaks at family events, bad dinner parties/Passover Seders, anything in a church/mosque/temple, etc.
I like it but...
I want to give it 5 stars because when it works it is amazing. It only worked a couple of times for me and then every other time it closes when I go to activate one. I have tried deleting and reinstalling and resetting my phone. I have the iPhone 7. Maybe it just doesn't like me. I'll keep an eye out for an update cause this would be great for my inlaws house.

I have not used this app in a situation but tested it at home. I go on tinder/bumble dates and all have been awkward or they just wanted a hookup at the end. I cannot wait to use this app for real! Plus love the profile pic for the contact to make "best friends" call/text more legit. Thanks Chelsea for helping us get away from the awkward situations in life easily!
