Overall, very convenient!

This app has been a fantastic solution to the long lines that seem to always be at our Chick Fil A (I live in a small Texas college town, and Chick Fil A is everyone's go to spot). And I don't mean to say the long lines are terrible, because the workers are lightning fast when it comes to taking care of everyone, but it's nice when I'm in a rush or on my way to somewhere, and I need a quick meal, all I have to do is click on my favorite meal (which the app has saved), walk in, wait a minute or two, and walk out with freshly made food without having to wait in a line or swipe a card. It's even faster than their drive thru!

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it times out and glitches a bit when handling a large order. We had an internship meeting and took everyone's order (about 8 people total), and when I was entering it into the app, after only a few orders had been placed, it would shut down, and I'd have to start all over again. After a couple times of it happening, I finally learned to go back and forth between placing the order and looking at the total in the app to make sure it was staying updated, so when the app would close out, my order would be saved and I could continue putting it in. It ended up being a bit of a hassle, and took more time than it should, but I still think overall, this app is a great and helpful tool.

I think if that small issue were to be fixed, this app would be top notch!

The sandwich(es) that got away

We love this place and will still go back. I've tried to order through the mobile app the last few times and when I get to the parking lot, the app just goes into this deep dark Abyss and after about 5 minutes, it gives me an error pop-up and there's technical difficulties. When I place an order through the app it is normally a $50-$60 order, so I would consider it a large order. The last 3 times (including last night) I have found that they forgot to put a sandwich in the bag that was included on the receipt. Since the order was quite large, instead of taking out all of the bags out of the big bag that everything is in, I tend to be a little trusting that everything is correct. This has happened the last 3 times, which is making me a little weary to place larger orders. I place them
Through the app because there are 6 people with different tastes and it is suppose to be convenient....however if the app doesn't work when I pull into the parking lot and if they keep forgetting food that was ordered, then I will either go inside to order and have them check my stuff with 25 other people waiting behind me. I didn't call to complain, because for one...that is not me...and second ... I'm not driving back just to get the missing sandwich. I luckily order soup because it's normally me that goes without the sandwich so at least I have the soup. Hopefully this is not a trend. That will make me sad because we really do live this place.

Placed a mobile order for curbside pick up. I received notice that it was ready and on it's way out while pulling into the parking lot. I call them to tell them I'm right in front after not see anyone for 5 minutes. They lady was nice and said she check on my order and send someone right out. Waited over ten minutes still no one has come. I call again and asked if she needed my order number because I've been waiting for over ten minutes. She apologizes and said that someone did go out with my order maybe they went to the wrong car and she'll send someone out right now. I guess a manager came out with my now super cold order and gift cards for a couple of free sandwiches. At this point I'm late going back to work from lunch. A 5 minute drive there and a 5 minute drive back during a 30 minute lunch so I can leave early enough to not be in traffic for 2 hours when I get off has now turned into 45 minutes and no lunch break for me. The whole reason I ordered ahead and requested curbside became a useless disaster. I'm so sad that this happened. They're normally super on point when I do a mobile order. I feel as though there is some serious disorganization and communication happening there.
