So the ap is what got a low review, the manager that fixed it gets a 13 lol. I had a large order for an office bday party and after placing 12 items on my order and trying to check out I was told I exceeded the $50 online and $75 total order amount. It told me to call and I did. Once I called they told me they couldn't take my order over the phone and to just do 2 smaller orders in 2 different apps. Luckily my mother has one so I was able to divide it up into 2 orders. I had to use a CC that was for our office and deleted the number once I was done placing the order. I had my mother put that she was at the store and I did mine as well. I get a call from my mom saying that they can't find the order and it magically disappeared. This was 6 meals that all had special requests, the 3rd time I had to put it in and I had deleted the credit card info. I went inside and talked to Rebecca(?) who was nice enough to comp that half of my order and also get it to my car and gave us a bunch of sauces just in case. I hadn't had issues with the app before, but this update blows! Plus I really wanted to leave feedback about Rebecca since she was so helpful. Bringing the comment section back and fixing whatever bug has orders disappearing would be great!
I ordered online using mobile app for pickup at Winchester location in Memphis. When icon said ready for pickup, I went in. Manager on duty asked if I had a mobile order. He asked for name and I gave. He went and cane back saying it must not be ready. I assured him app indicated it was. He went back again but came back with an order for someone dining in. I waited and he asked my name again. He finally comes back and says he has it and did I want fresh fries. He stated order had been ready but under a different name? I did request fresh fries. I checked bag and noted there was no salad dressing for my Cobb salad. He said that was another issue because I didn't note what kind on the mobile order. I then asked if I could get the balsamic vinaigrette. He brought it back to me and handed me order. The entire exchange gave the perception the reason order was not found or ready was my fault? All this because of salad dressing? The service at this location continues to decline at each encounter. I am seriously considering going to another more customer friendly location in the area. It's worth the inconvenience.
Don't love that you have to get out of car
First off, I love chick fil a- great food and business model. Here is my 2 cents:
The app had some issues. I had a free item and a gift card to use. It didn't want to finish my order at first. Then it said $0. That should be right. When I got to store, it said "ready to place order for $7?" I am still not sure if I over paid or if it used my gift card or credit card or both.
Also, I wish there were special parking spots or a drive thru line. It was cold today and I didn't like that I had to stand outside for 5 minutes while hey made it.
One other grief today since I am on a roll. The honey BBQ sauce was left out of my grilled sandwich order. The app says it comes with it and many other staff have put it in. When I ask for it, they say- it's already in there. Today, she asked if I wanted sauce. Assuming the honey BBQ was in there -because it says such in The app and always is, I said no. And.. no sauce at all in my bag. I wish that were more standardized...
