Chief Mobile is has redundant alerting using a combination of Tone Alerting & CAD Alerting.
Allows you to receive & map incidents from your 911 dispatch center quickly. A push notification will alert you when a new dispatch occurs and forward you to the incident information and map.
With Tone Alert, Chief Mobile works like your Fire Pager providing two sources for alerting.
You can also receive messages that are sent out by other personnel. Get notified of open shifts, training, and other announcements instantly. The latest version allows you to reply to messages.
Allows your personnel to update their status (i.e. Responding Station 1, Available, etc.). Their ETA is tracked while responding.
Allows companies that use Chief Scheduling to view the company schedule by day and their own schedule.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Along with having a dual alerting system with CAD & Tone Alerting. Chief Mobile brings many other features including Responders, Scheduling, News, & Messaging.

Ratings and Reviews
Great app, would it be possible to add more notification sounds for example the ladder 49 alert tone?
Works well, but...
The current version has what can only be a big. I can’t see why it would be this way intentionally.
When setting notifications, there is no “save” functionality or button. When you set an alert for a particular unit and then close the setting screen utilizing the “x,” your preferences aren’t saved. They can only be saved by setting them, and then clicking on another function. So, set a “channel alert,” close the screen—nothing saves. Set a “channel alert,” then click on “my schedule,” then back to “channel alert—“ it saves...

Filled with Bugs
This is a great concept, however since the last update the notifications are filled with bugs. I set my notifications preferences and sounds and then nothing saves. I’m being alerted for companies that I have the alerts set to “off” and not alerted for companies set to “on”. I try to change my notification settings and nothing will save, the app literally does whatever it wants. If you could please fix these bugs, that would be much appreciated. This is the only reason I wouldn’t give it five stars.
