Wanna get really really frustrated?
This app is a nightmare! If you order the same thing every time, it stores it for a while and then randomly erases it. If you try to correct a typo in the notes, it erases the whole note. The worst is that it automatically sends the order to what it considers the closest location (which is not even the case since it keeps trying to send my lunch order to a location five miles away even though I'm now within a mile of my usual location.) You can't change the location within the order so you have to start again once you realize it's put in the wrong location. And even though I'm practically at the location where I want to pick up my salad, it doesn't even show that location in the pull down menu!! I've now deleted the app and am going to reload it in the hopes that that will break this vicious cycle. I've never written an online review before but I was driven by frustration to write this one -- this is a horrible app!!!! I wish I could give it zero stars.
Why can't I just order my food?
I love Chopt's restaurant, but their website and this app are awful. I couldn't get to the menu easily from my phone and they recommended the app to me. I installed it and it asked me to add a CC which is fair considering I'm about to order ahead of time. BUT it takes you to a page that gives you two options, get billed monthly OR have it auto charge your CC $25/month. I just want to see the menu and order, I'm not looking for a weird subscription and there's no option to bypass it. The app was so sketchy I immediately uninstalled it. Unless they fix it so that you can order without hassle and fear that they're charging you falsely...do not install this app!
Just want to take this opportunity to warmly say thanks to all the staff members employed at the 56/6 Chopt location for the model of excellent Hospitality service that should serve as an example to all. They always welcome me warmly and are very attentive to my needs. They make sure that everything from the food they prepare to the service they provide has met my expectations. Thanks again 56/6.
