“Day one of using @ChoreMonster and the kids were pumped...woke up early to log on and asked for more chores when I tucked them in.”

My kids are begging to do chores
There are several different levels of reward from instant hoorays to tickets for spinning the prize wheels for silly prizes. The older kids prefer the tickets and points to add up to buy virtual monsters and redeem for parent chosen rewards. There is silly potty humor but I think that's what makes it more effective. One of my favorite features is that it is even rewarding for parents who can earn badges and get positive messages from their kids.
Update - I've had to supplement with a contest between my four kids after 2 months of using this to keep them engaged. They often forget to log chores and rewards or just don't care about it. I'd like the option to see completed tasks and rewards redeemed, as I can't remember who logged what after a busy day. I have to wait for the weekly email to see where they each stand. I also agree there should be a way to remove points. I like the points boost feature, but I would also like the ticket option along with it, if it were available. Then, I could use it for extra chores that I don't want to add to their regular list.
This really had helped encourage my daughter (we started this at 5yo) with positive reinforcement. It's also made us see all the good she's doing on those "bad days" so it helped us as parents reward her rather than focus on the negative that inevitably parents deal with as the children become independent. We have rewards to earn tv time, help with dinner, date nights, dance parties, create a craft, shopkins. You can create the point system too! I now have an Apple Watch so I can see all the chores she completed right there as well. Love this and highly recommend to parents with spirited children to encourage positive behavior. Sometimes we all need a little praise for the good we do and this makes it fun and playful! My daughter loves earning monsters and tickets for the carnival they have too!☺️ I tell all my friends about this app and how it's really changed our world!
Thank you chore monster!

I have never seen my boys more into doing chores! They are constantly going in to look for chores to earn points for rewards. & my nagging has stopped because they are doing what I want. They have also learned how to balance how they spend their points -- for us treats, to money, to prizes, or electronics, etc.
As an improvement it would be able to see on the weekly report not just how many chores and rewards they earned but the details so I can look at trends or show them how they spent their points. It was nice though to be able to show them they earned 1100 points for the week but are down to 50 and to ask them if they remember what they bought or how they could have saved $11 (for us 100 points is a dollar) instead.
Thanks for creating this!
