As Christmas draws near each year, the quiet little town of McAdenville, lying along the South Fork River in Gaston County, NC, just outside Charlotte, NC, comes alive in spectacular fashion. Seemingly overnight, this little town is transformed into "Christmas Town, USA."
During December, hundreds of thousands of twinkling Christmas lights turn this small town into a spectacular holiday display. Visitors stroll down Main Street or drive through town surrounded by the sights and sounds of Christmas.
The Christmas Town USA Mobile Tour app provides you with an enhanced experience when visiting our holiday light display. A map of the area highlights can't-miss points of interest, and includes information about parking and wait times from key locations leading into McAdenville at different times of the month. Notifications within the app tell you when that day's light display is nearing the end, and notifications from organizers let you know of important, up to the minute information about the festivities within the app.

I'm sitting in the line waiting to drive through Christmastown. The app promises real-time wait times/etas, but all I get is a blank screen. Better luck next year.
