Chrometa desktop is incredible. It captures all you do on your computer in real-time. It not only improves your billings, but it provides your clients fair, accurate billing -- no time charge for passing moments opening and closing email, no unfair rounding because you made a wrong assumption because you forgot intervening time working on something else or grabbing coffee (it even collects your computer's dark time and asks if that is billable). The only other passive billing software out there is Amicus Attorney and it isn't even close to this powerful -- collecting only email activity of recognized email addresses.
The app is less impressive. Hopefully future versions include some passive features -- like drive time.
Chrometa’s ROI is HUGE!
Helps me bill for all my phone calls (via the Verizon call sync) as well as my work on my Mac. I use the Gmail email capture to make sure I’m billing for all my emails (including those I send from my phone).
This product literally paid for itself the first day I used it. The ROI is huge because I’m capturing hours each week that I otherwise would have lost track of.
Make sure you get this setup on your Mac as well. It will actually capture every minute of your day, so that you don’t forget to bill for it!

As an accountant, I have struggled to keep track of everything I do throughout the day. With this App and the software on our computers, we are able to track all of our billable time! It's great!
