Be Riddick, the most ruthless criminal in the universe. In this latest Atari chronicle, Riddick has been captured by The Dark Athena, a mercenary ship hell-bent on eliminating him once and for all. Using his intense hand-to-hand combat skills, explosive firepower, and lethal stealth, Riddick must shut down the maniacal Captain Revas and her deadly crew. When Riddick steps into the darkness, no one is safe.
Before battling the Necromongers on Helion Prime - even before the crash landing of the Hunter-Gratzner on a deserted planet in Pitch Black - Riddick stalked his enemies across the universe. Play the award-winning Escape from Butcher Bay campaign, which has been re-mastered with top of the line graphics specifically for next-gen systems.
The new Assault on Dark Athena campaign takes place immediately following the events on Butcher Bay, as now Riddick must use his well-honed skills to evade capture by the forces of Captain Revas, and put an end to her evil plans once and for all.

What's New in Version 1.0.1
This is now one of my favorite FPS games ever. The stealth element in the game is really well thought out and REALLY fun. The games have alot of melee fighting, but you get weapons later in them. The game runs fairly smoothly on a 2010 MBP 13". It gets a little slow and laggy during some parts, but overall its not that bad or noticable. The game has never crashed for me.
The games were actually quite difficult (on the normal or hard option) but never so hard that I stopped playing. Escape From Butcher Bay was good, But The Assault on Dark Athena was AMAZING! Definatly one of the best video games I have ever played. Vin Diesel's voice acting is pretty bland, but matches his acting in the movies so I guess it fits.
The gameplay itself is awesome when it's working.
The game runs on some type of VM technology… it's not TRULY an OS X native app. And in this, it sometimes crashes.
Here's the trick: If you encounter a loading screen that crashes the program -- lower the resolution and settings to ~800x600 with the lowest possible settings.
The game will (very likely) load the new section. If you then manually save the game and change your settings back, you should be able to continue.
I only had to do this twice through the course of the entire game (and they just happened to be areas that other people had complained about).
All-in-all, his game is most certainly worth the price of admission.
You might need to wait a few minutes for it to open, but it will. Once it does, it's really good. There's nothing seriously wrong with it, except for two instances where it froze briefly, but not long enough for me to force quit or restart my computer. It's not a bad game, you just might have to reinstall it a few times and have a lot of patience while opening it.
